It all began with an encounter at a ramen shop in Osaka. Together with friends we met during our training, we opened "Menya Yuko" in Karasuma Oike in order to make a name for ourselves in Kyoto. The owner believes that "staff are not employees, but friends," so

we named the shop after the manager, not the owner. The same goes for our second shop, "Menya Hijiri," in Ichijoji. In this way, our ramen will continue to evolve as we add new friends. We will deliver a delicious bowl of ramen like never before from Kyoto to the world.

The Menya Yuko Group has a different concept for each store. From the way the food is served to the noodles, char siu, soup, and atmosphere, everything is different. This is because we respect the challenges that the store manager wants to take on, and we always strive to create stores that surpass existing stores. And above all, we want to deliver a different experience to our customers at each store.

We are constantly researching ways to provide delicious char siu. At Menya Yuko, we offer char siu on certain days of the week, and at Menya Hijiri, we cut fresh char siu right in front of the counter. Please also enjoy the soup, which has a rich flavor thanks to the oil from the char siu.
